Choose your fighter

I've played many a fighting game during my time, "Mains" are the characters I liked, whom I put the time and effort to learn and compete with them.I mainly pick from design though alot of my mains also happen to be grapplers.

Iron Tager

The Red Devil himself, being the grappler of Blazblue, Tager naturally has powerful command grabs and low mobility. However, his unique Magnetism mechanic to have his opponents come to him rather than the other way around and give him special combo routes. Alongside that, he has tons of armored moves and guard point, an amazing backdash, and one of the best projectiles in the game. Tager is certainly no slouch on the battlefield; despite his size and speed.

Potemkin

The Huge, Hulking, Giant, Potemkin. Huge normals, insane damage, and can make you afraid at any range with his trusty special moves such as his signature Potemkin Buster, Heat Knuckle, and Hammerfall moves, and a new addition, Garuda Impact which will make opponents think twice about any decision they do after they get knocked down. Potemkin will always invoke fear in the opponent!

Potemkin (+R)

In this older appearance, Potemkin walked a different beat of life, but is actually much more effective here than he is in Strive. With a standing overhead, a normal that vacuums, and a much faster Potemkin Buster, this version of Pot is the ultimate dice roller! and can do flashy, high damage combos with Air Potemkin Buster!

Kanji Tatsumi / Iron Tager

Blazblues Grappler and Personas Grappler, what could possibly go wrong? They both have fundamentally the same gameplan from their home games, but can assist eachother using this games mechanics. New additions to their kits include a much more spammable Spark Bolt and a devious Air Genesic Tager Buster and Kanji's enhanced Cruel Attack and Bet Ya Can't Take This! will certainly throw opponents in for a loop!

Akira

Akira from Virtua Fighter make a guest appearence in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition. His first and sole 2D appearence too! Even on the 2D battlefield, his Bajiquan still brings on massive hurt!

Junpei

Junpei, Ace Detective, makes his grand return in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. With his trusty bat by his side, and incredibly unique Baseball Mechanic, allowing you to create unique combos and high damage with Clean Hits, he, and his Persona, Trismigistus will show the others he hasn't been slacking after all these years!

Neco Arc

It's her.
Incredibly tiny, weird, and obnoxious, but can stand to be a real threat if her gameplan goes as planned. Due to her size, it can be very hard to combo her, and when she's on the playing field, she can opt for many options, such as True Ancestor Beam for zoning, or teleporting with Cat Back From The Underworld R (Returns) to confuse the opposition, and not to mention the gang, who you can call with Neco Packet 2008. With all these tools, Neco-Arc is certainly, a character.

Beowulf / Big Band

Wulfamania (and Smooth Jazz) runs wild! This go to Skullgirls team bring all the hurt, mix, and visual flair to the table! Beowulf is the main man, with his Hype and Chair mechanics and a Plethora of grab follow ups, compounded with Big Band's Take the A-Train assist and his own Sound Stun Mechanic, these 2 will lay down all the hurt; and style, into 1 package!

Piranha Plant

Why the hell not, let the potted plant play, coach. While unassuming at first, Piranha Plant has many a trick up his sleeve(?), with remarkably strong kill moves and an arsenal of traps in his moveset such as Ptooie, and Poison Breath and the insane Long-Stem Strike this Plant is not one to underestimate!

Mii Brawler

The world is your oyster with the Mii's, play as whoever you want, and customize their movesets with 16 special moves to experiment with! The brawler specifically has a myriad of options to close the distance between opponents, use Shot Put as a slow but strong projectile, Suplex to take a more grappler-like approach, or Feint Kick as a tricky recovery option, but the options don't end there!

Nigel Thornberry

The ever eccentric nature narrator, turns out he can fight aswell! Packing multiple jumps and unique air movement, complemented by Falcon Dive alongside his incredible damage and kill power with his Snap, He can definitely show you how to have a Smashing time!
